Tiffany M. Sanders, MD graduated with a BA in Biology from the University of Virginia. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sanders completed residency training in Internal medicine at MCP-Hahnemann University Department of Internal Medicine followed by a post-doctoral clinical fellowship in geriatric medicine at Johns Hopkins University of Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Sanders’ extensive background includes medical leadership positions at several medical centers throughout Connecticut, including work with the under-served and in addiction medicine. She also served as Community Based Faculty Member, Assistant Clinical Professor at the Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine where she precepted second year medical students in the development of clinical skills. She has served as the Clinical Director for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and held the title of Medical Officer for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. It was there where she received the Administrator’s Award, the highest agency award, for innovation in the delivery of healthcare services with payment incentives. Dr. Sanders is deeply committed to educating the next generation of healthcare providers and leaders. She brings a holistic and patient-centered approach to providing care to her patients. She believes in open dialogue and working together with patients and their families to achieve health and wellness.
