Dr. David Brady - Vice President for Health Sciences We are a university-based Center of Excellence for complementary and wellness-based healthcare disciplines. As part of a university system, we offer exceptional resources. Our location in Connecticut’s largest city and our collaborative relationship with a number of award-winning hospitals provide a variety of additional clinical opportunities. Many of our students also take advantage of UB’s dual degree offerings, enabling them to integrate their professional skills and offer their future patients a broader range of health care services.

The UB Clinics, located on campus, give our students the ability to study and work alongside health care specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team. This hands-on clinical experience gives our students the real-world preparation needed to become successful practitioners. Our distinguished faculty is renowned not only for teaching and research, but also for their accessibility and caring. UB has one of the most advanced digital library systems in the country, plus an expanding network of smart classrooms and wireless facilities. A state-of-the-art anatomy lab is currently under construction. Despite all this, we never forget what is at the heart of a quality educational experience: a collegial atmosphere and small class size are both hallmarks of our institution.

Take a closer look at what makes UB a special place to prepare for a career in the health sciences. I think the more you learn about our program, the more you’ll want to be a part of something bigger.
