Elif Kongar, Associate Professor
Dr. Elif Kongar is an Associate Professor at the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Technology Management at the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, Connecticut. She received her BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University. She has co-authored several technical papers presented at various national and international conferences and published in their respective proceedings. Dr. Kongar is a member of the Scientific Research Society, Sigma Xi, the Industrial Engineering Honor Society, Alpha Pi Mu, the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Ahmed El Sayed, Ph.D. Candidate, Computer Science
Ahmed El Sayed received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2003 from Department of Electrical Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt, and M.Sc. in Engineering Mathematics in 2006 from the Department of Engineering Mathematics and Physics, Alexandria University, Egypt. Currently he is a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Bridgeport.
He is a Teaching and Researching Assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Bridgeport. He worked as a Teaching Assistant of Engineering Mathematics in the Department of Engineering Mathematics and Physics, Alexandria University, Egypt. He published papers in the fields of Fuzzy Control systems and Soft Computing methods. His research interest include AI, Fuzzy Systems, Soft Computing, Hybrid System, Signal and Image processing.
Ismail Ozenc, MS Candidate, Technology Management
Ismail Ozenc is pursuing his MS Degree in Technology Management at the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT under the advisory of Dr. Elif Kongar as a Graduate Assistant. He received his BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul. He is the author of two student posters presented at the ASEE NE 2010 Conference. He is currently serving as full-time graduate assistant at the University of Bridgeport. Mr. Ozenc is the recipient of Seed Money Grant Scholarship Award, School of Engineering, University of Bridgeport in Summer 2010. He has work experience in various departments at Akademi Consulting Inc, Mercedes Benz Inc, Aselsan Inc, Pirelli Tyre Inc., and Turkish Aerospace Industries. His current research interests include sustainable environment and business intelligence.
