“I plan to pursue working towards the eradication of global poverty.”

Major: Global Development and Peace

State: Columbia

Why I chose UB Global Development and Peace Program
I wanted to share my experiences from working with a Colombian Foundation that provided counseling to young people to encourage them to pursue an education. The GLDP program is just the place to provide a forum to convey this knowledge.

What I enjoy most about the program
I am very pleased with the professors, and I appreciate the quality of instruction. In addition, I have learned practical approaches to conflict resolution, while become more engaged with global issues.

On classroom experiences
Classes are multi-cultural, which provides a great opportunity to learn about different cultures from my classmates. I find my fellow students to be knowledgeable and forthcoming.

Plans for after graduation
I will pursue a career in a field where I can apply the knowledge I gained from the GLDP program. I also plan to pursue a doctorate and working towards the eradication of global poverty.
