The 14 NAE Grand Challenges

In 2008, the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has identified 14 Grand Challenges for Engineering for the 21^st Century. The Grand Challenges are a call to action and offers opportunities and challenges affecting the quality of life. The University of Bridgeport’s School of Engineering is embracing NAE’s call to action and is already involved with ongoing initiatives.
